Lets help kids who have a parent with cancer

Why am I supporting the Holt Brothers Foundation? Because I want to help kids who have a parent with cancer.
As someone who is currently a (grown) kid with a parent who has cancer, I understand what it's like to have a parent battling cancer. My mother, Zeakolen Carver, is currently in her second battle with breast cancer. She was first diagnosed when I was 10 years old. At the time, I didn't understand much of what was going on, all I knew was that I had one strong mom. She was my hero. She beat cancer.
20 years later, she was diagnosed yet again - just a few short months after her sister, my aunt, beat her battle with cancer. My mother is currently 75% through her chemo treatments and battling it like a champion. As an adult, I understand what she went through 20 years ago and I understand what she's going through now. She's still my hero.
It's a helpless feeling to have a parent battle cancer. You'd do anything to help, anything to relieve their pain, anything to make it easier but there's just not much you can do. I won't be able to see her on mothers day because her counts are low and she can't risk being sick. It's not a feeling that I'd wish for anyone. So, if I can do anything, even if it's a small thing, to help other kids with parents who are battling cancer, I'm all for it.
Help me to help these kids and help the strong people, like my mother, battle cancer in a big way.
Thank you!
Dylan
